✅ Module 8 – Strategy Playbooks & Trade Models
Teach traders how to stop taking random trades and start executing repeatable, predefined strategies (playbooks).
📌 What This Module Covers
This module teaches how to build and use structured trading playbooks so executions are repeatable, disciplined, and data-driven.
✅ Lesson 1
What Is a Trading Playbook
A playbook removes guesswork from trading. Instead of reacting to every market move, you wait for specific conditions you have already defined. This keeps decisions objective and reduces emotional trading.
A trading playbook is a documented set of rules for a specific setup.
✅ Lesson 2
Defining a Trade Model
Each trade model should clearly define market conditions, entry criteria, stop placement, and target logic. If all conditions are not met, the trade is skipped. This protects capital and keeps execution consistent.
A trade model describes exactly what must happen before you enter.
✅ Lesson 3
Entry, Stop & Target Logic
Entries should align with structure, stops should be placed where the idea is invalidated, and targets should be realistic based on market conditions. Planning these levels in advance prevents emotional decisions during the trade.
Every trade must make sense before the entry is taken.
✅ Lesson 4
When Not to Trade
Low volume, unclear structure, emotional states, or over-trading days are signals to step aside. Skipping low-quality setups protects both capital and mindset and improves long-term results.
Knowing when to stay out is a strategy itself.
✅ Lesson 5
Strategy Consistency
Trading multiple strategies at once often leads to confusion and inconsistency. Focusing on one or two proven setups allows you to build confidence, collect meaningful data, and improve performance over time.
One well-executed strategy beats many poorly executed ones.
✅ Lesson 6
Reviewing Playbook Performance
Review trades by strategy, not by daily profit or loss. Track win rate, average risk-to-reward, and rule adherence. This data shows which setups deserve focus and which should be adjusted or removed.
Strategies improve only when they are reviewed honestly.
